15 Writers Raise $13,000 for Renascent!

The Marathon

July 29-August 1, 2016 – 3rd annual Toronto Novel Marathon. ToNoMa offers a unique opportunity for writers, 72 hours to focus on writing! It’s also a competition, so there are awards for winning manuscripts, top fundraisers and the “Spirit of the Marathon”. ALL FORMS OF WRITING ARE ELIGIBLE TO BE SUBMITTED.

This is a special event fundraiser. Sponsor donations will be given to Renascent, an abstinence-based alcohol and drug rehabilitation centre that treats men, women and families with addiction issues.

You will have 72 hours…should you decide to enter your writing for competition, you will receive feedback from our panel of judges. Winners will be named and those submissions will be forwarded to a noted Canadian publisher for sympathetic readings.

ONLINE REGISTRATION OPENS MARCH 30TH, AT TorontoNovelMarathon.ca.

Writers begin at 7pm on Friday, July 29th and finish no later than 7pm Monday, August 1st, 2016. Bring your sleeping bags and pillows if you wish to sleep at the venue. Catch a few hours to re-charge the batteries for your next writing blitz. There is plenty of coffee, tea and water available, but you are responsible for your meals. There are a number of restaurants and a convenience store near the site.
